Quarterback Case Keenum and his daughter Cadence stole the show shortly after the Bears’ 27-7 win against the Eagles on Monday night.
After ESPN’s cameras caught him hugging both his son and daughter, Cadence followed him onto the stage for a postgame interview with host Scott Van Pelt.
“This is gonna go down as one of the more special nights of my life …” said the Bears quarterback, who went 24-for-34 for 247 yards and two touchdowns. “I’m going to remember this night forever. This is incredible.”
Throughout the game, in which the Bears never trailed, Keenum said his family was never too far from his mind. They wore Keenum jerseys in the stands.
“I thought of them a lot on the sideline,” he said.
Cadence even said she’d be willing to give up her favorite show Tuesday to watch the replay with her dad.The cartoon “Bluey,” she said, could wait.

Keenum called his teammates his family when he received a game ball from coach Ben Johnson in the Bears' locker room.
"This is a special night," Keenum said. "This means a bunch to me. This was taken from me a lot of times ... To have my family, my kids get to watch it, and to get to do it with this family right here. I'm telling you, we've got something special here."
Johnson then led the Bears in their "Good, Better, Best" cheer.
