Arizona investigators probing the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie nine months ago traveled to Florida in an attempt to enhance testing of DNA apparently recovered at the scene of her home after she vanished, Pima County Sheriff’s Office officials announced.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos made the announcement on social media on Friday night, which marked the nine-month date of Guthrie’s disappearance. In it he wrote that members of a task force working to recover Guthrie met with Florida lab scientists earlier this month and talked about several possible approaches to the case.
The case has been marked by infighting between Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos and FBI Director Kash Patel. Both have been frequent pontificators on various networks and podcasts, but neither seems to have any new information that will push the mystery to a close or bring the 84-year-old grandmother and mother of three children, including “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, back to her family.
The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward to anyone with information about her disappearance.
