CANTON, Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – The League of Women Voters of the Canton Area is promoting a number of “get out the vote” events this weekend.
One of them is a Rally and Caravan to the Board of Elections from 2 to 4 Sunday at Saint Paul AME Church on East Tusc in Canton.
The group Action Together Stark has invited all local candidates to speak for a few moments, then everyone will head down to the Board of Elections on Route 62 to take advantage of the last few hours of Early Voting.
There are also bridge “brigades”, displaying “go vote” banners over I-77 Saturday and Election Day.
A sidewalk brigade will do the same at West Tusc and Whipple Avenue on Sunday.
