A Channelview man who was held on a $5 million bond as he faced child pornography and online solicitation of a minor charges, is headed back to a Texas prison for a 15-year sentence.

Christopher Lakner, 34, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Among the evidence gathered by Constable Precinct 1 Internet Crimes Against Children detectives was a video of girls who were nude and between the ages of 10 and 12 according to court records.

Another included a girl approximately 7 years old.

Lakner was previously sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to a 2019 online solicitation of a minor in a case in which he was accused of asking a Constable Precinct 1 deputy, who was undercover posing as a teenager, to help him kidnap children so they could be sold as sex slaves.

Lakner sent photos of himself naked and attempted to meet with her in person for sex. Lakner also told the undercover deputy he wanted to impregnate her to create children and raise them to be sex slaves, court records state.

As part of the defendant pleading guilty to a third-degree felony of possession of child pornography, another charge of online solicitation of a minor, a first-degree felony, was dismissed.

In the dismissed case, the suspect was accused of seeking to meet a 15-year-old girl at a McDonald’s fast-food restaurant to have sex in the bathroom. The defendant was wearing a blue McDonald’s large fries cartoon T-shirt when he was arrested by Constable Precinct 1.

The girl was actually the same undercover Constable Precinct 1 detective who caught him in the 2019 case.

Prior to his latest arrest in Harris County, Lakner had been convicted in Montgomery County of four second-degree felonies for possession of child pornography.
