One person was killed Saturday night in a crash involving a LAPD patrol car responding to a disturbance called in Van Nuys.
The victim, crossing the street in a crosswalk, died at the scene near on Woodman Avenue near Bessemer Street. The crash was reported at about 11:30 p.m. when officers were responding to reports of a shooting at a Halloween night party attended by hundreds of people.
There was no evidence of a shooting.
Details about the crash victim’s identity were not immediately available.
